Guidelines of NanoMatFutur

The Federal Ministry of Education and Research announces the guidelines of the young competition "NanoMatFutur" on the basis of "Material innovation for industry and community".

Materials research and Nanotechnology

The implementation of creative ideas into innovations is a prerequisite to be able to perform succesfully in global competition. Materials research and Nanotechnology open up the opportunity for securing and expanding Germanys top position in many application fields of high technology. For sustainable recovery in this area special importance shall be attached to young researchers and promotion of excellent scientists. It will be necessary to encourage returnees and to enable good starting conditions for highly qualified young academics in Germany to prevent migration from Germany and to encourage returnees.

Research subjects

The BMBF funding activity "NanoMatFutur" implents the aims of the high-tech strategy to improve the framework conditions.
