The Network of Competence is focusing on a public discussion of the plasma surface technique, which is already today an important key within many technical fields of application. The appreciation within an initiative “KompetenznetzeDeutschland” as an outstanding network of innovation at the Federal Ministry of economy and technology BMWi (Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Technologie) is a great affirmation for the right way and also a motivation for further efforts.
In addition to this mention there are also further successes that have been achieved by the network in its comparatively short work period. This includes on the one hand the organization of a Parliamentary Evening in Berlin, Germany, which should bring closer the subject plasma to the references of the politics to stimulate the necessary debate. On the other hand INPLAS got an award for its movie “Plasma - a bright advantage”.
