Seventh Framework Programme of the european comission (2007-2013)

Aim and subject

Aim of the Framework Programme (RP7) is to strengthen the scientific and technological background of the community and to assure a strong competitiveness. There are four specific programs which correspond to the main aims of the European research politic:

Way of aid: benefit

Area of aid: Research & Innovation (open for topics); Research & Innovation (topic related)

Way of aid: community

Beneficiary of aid: companies; institutions of research; university

Way of application

The accomplishment of the frame program is based on the basis of the specific programs. In every specific program itself, specific aims and rules for the accomplishment are being set. The rules for the attendance at the program are given by the European Commission at the so called rules of cooperation. The rules of cooperation define specifically the basic rights and duties of the participants and the principles of using and spreading the results. The application happens on the base of invocations of the Committee to hand proposals in which are announced at the EU-gazette and the Internet pages of the research- and information service CORDIS.

Contact partners in Germany:

For information and advice of German prospectors of the frame program of research, the Federal Government supports professional oriented national contact points. Those contact points normally are a part of national project executing organisations that by itself are settled at German research facilities.
