For many years the section Physical Technology (CR/ART) of the central sector research and advanced engeneering concentrates on thin, in vacuum applied wear pad films. These were particularly developed for components of high pressured injections of fuel, various plasma processes and thin-film technology, e.g. diamond like carbon films.
