Lower Saxony Alliance of Innovation Plasma Technology (NIP)

Plasma technology is a seminal key technology for the high-tech location Germany. »NIP« is an open alliance of institutions and companies from Lower Saxony, which concentrates on Lower Saxon expertises in the plasma surface technology throughout the whole developments chain.

The optimal usage of the appliance spectrum and the potentials of the plasma surface technology for Lower Saxon companies are targets of the alliance. Solutions are worked out by advice and feasibility studies to make products and processes for Lower Saxon companies useful.

International Cluster with ViaMéca

Basic aims of the project are the initiation and the development of contacts to the French network of competence (»pôle de compétitivité«) »ViaMéca« to achieve a strategic partnership between the two networks.

For a close collaboration of the particular network members basic workflows for the initiation of projects between the partners ought to be included as a service.

With this instrument and as a first action a project between the partners shall be designed and applied. Therefor scope and disposition of the collaboration have to be adapted and coordinated on both sides.

The partners of the French network ought to be included in the INPLAS-team. Through this the collaboration in projects can be further intensified - the exchange between German INPLAS members and French companies can be integrated into the existing structures of INPLAS and thus become considerably easy.

Super-Low-Temperature-Bonding in Microsystemtechnique (Super Bond)

Proceeding miniaturisation and rising demands of the stability of structures require new methods of the connection of components.

The possibilities of traditional bonds end when the dimension of the components or rather the generated structures of the coating thickness get too close to the adhesion switching coat. Beside the requirements of thickness and reliability rise steadily. This is reflected in the production of sensors and micro fluid systems.

Already with the help of low temperature, it is the aim of the project to achieve a clear increase of the stability of the compound.
