Germany invests more than ever in research and development

Germany takes a leading position in Europe

In 2010 the spending on research and development in Germany increased to a new record figure of 70 billion Euro. In total the german economy invested 46,9 billion euro - 3,7 percent more than in 2009. 2010-2013 the German federal government will invest 27 billion euro in this high tech-strategy and the fields of research climate/energy, health/nutrition, mobility, safety and communication.
