Hauzer Techno Coating, the plasma coating specialist from the Netherlands, shows on the PSE in Garmisch-Partenkirchen (Germany) and AMB in Stuttgart (Germany) the latest developments from HIPIMS and HIPIMS+ (High Power Impulse Magnetron Sputtering) Technologies. HIPIMS is especially suitable for etching the substrate's surface while HIPIMS+ allows dense and defect-free coatings at high deposition rates. Test results from international job coaters and tool manufacturers show that the development has made a big leap forward. Both technologies can be applied together or separately in industrial production machines, the Flexicoat® units from Hauzer.
