A big step toward increased achievement and better wear protection of the cutting tools is the CCDia carbon speed developed by CemeCon. The special coating structure - a very smooth surface combines with patented multilayer architecture (EP200002890) - makes the coated tools particularly wear resistant. The coating grows up over the entire function length homogeneous. During the cutting process the reduced heat conductivity of the multilayer diamant coating protects the carbide. CCDia carbon speed is coatable on VHM indexable inserts and - shank tools.
