From September 15 to September 19 the PSE 2008 took place in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. With 786 visitors, 194 lectures and 399 poster contributions, the host, namely the EFDS, again received an amount of announcements.
In the fair area 56 exhibitors were represented - including the competence network INPLAS.
At the large common stand of the two most important networks of the plasma scene the qualification initiative Q-Plas were presented.
The competence network BalticNet-PlasmaTec, focused on plasma technology, and INPLAS as network for plasma surface technology (both accredited by the BMWi) commonly appeared on the PSE 2008 through close connection.
At the stand one was able to play the "Q-Plas Quiz" which was developed for professional training program and where there were three plasma cups to win.
Besides, the chairman of the PSE 2008, professor D'Agostino and Madame Directrice Gicquel honoured the common stand.
Professor D'Agonstino and Madame Gicquel had to answer rating questions as well: How many "charge carriers" are in the plasma cup?
Amongst others doctor Bandorf from the Fraunhofer IST as well.
