12th BAIKA One-on-One cooperation meeting for manufacturers and suppliers New technologies are becoming more and more important within the automotive value chain. Further developments in light-weight construction, energy storage, new concepts for attractive interiors, new driver assistance systems for even more safety and comfort, highly precise navigation systems or real-time communication with traffic management systems are just a few examples. To achieve this innovations as a result of this dynamic in the market, more emphasis is put on new cooperation strategies as well as the integration of new technology partners into added-value chains and the automotive industry is in demand of competencies so far rarely needed. Manufacturers and suppliers are therefore continuously striving for the best possible partners on all levels - from regional to international - in purchasing, development, production and sales. In view of this background, Bayern Innovativ Ltd. is organising the 12th BAIKA One-on-One cooperation meeting for manufacturers and suppliers. This platform enjoys a great international response and is regarded as one of the worldwide leading matchmaking-events. On the 20th and 21st of September 2010 representatives of more than 200 companies and institutes from 25 countries are expected in Lindau, Germany, with some 1000 pre-arranged one-on-one business meetings being organised for them. The forum is being conducted by Bayern Innovativ Ltd. in collaboration with the Department of Economic Affairs of the Canton of St. Gallen, the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) and supported by the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Transport and Technology. In addition more than 30 partner organisations from Europe, North America and Asia are involved.
