Following the success of the Sheffield HIPIMS Days hosted in the past by Sheffield Hallam University, and the progress with the novel High Power Impulse Magnetron Sputtering (HIPIMS), Sheffield Hallam University and INPLAS are organizing the first International Conference on HIPIMS together on 6 - 7 July 2010 in Sheffield (UK).
